Can any other newbies get into the game yet? I seen i posted its partially restored and im sure some people are on hammering the crap out of everything right now. Sadly im only a month or so old so i fell out of the june 20th spot. I hope captain sees this and fixes yours truly as i see the nepharious captin is online now. That way i can go and asses the damage ive been handed to my ship.

Ditto sludgy, i sent the "im screwed" email out too, least i know your not on either! Thats one less threat to my ship to worry about.

I believe I've got everything as back as it's going to be.

I've reset everyone's fame to 0 and everyone's moves to 600.

All of the gold information was lost, so I had to restore people's gold levels back to the first day of the month. All upgrades that you've earned since then are yours to keep--consider it a bonus.

For the accounts after June 20th, send an email as instructed on the home page. We will respond with a temporary password as soon as we can so that you can log in again. You will need to revalidate your email address, as that was lost too.

I'm so sorry about all this, and about taking PTW down for a whole day. I've been working on this for about 16 hours now and I really, really need a beer.

Yes, unfortunately I was not able to recover the gold since the last cashout - 9/1/07.

Everything crashed for me, not only the game :p

It's all working now.. but still having a lot of problems in-game.

I'm sure they'll be fixed soon though

One of the ones I dont remember seeing mentioned when I was glancing through the forum was the referral recruitments. I dont think it's that significant, but it's saying that I referred the people november of 1999, and i've only been playing for 3-4 days lol :p Might want to check into that!

Yes we lost the data of when a lot of people joined, so it's defaulting to 1999...

ive never lost this much gold at once before!

all the top players with HUGE upgrades will definatly not be happy , like me!

PM me if you feel like you've lost an inordinate amount of gold.

I don't think there will be many who don't gain from the reset, but for the few who lost a lot of gold I can dig into the attack logs and try to verify how much you had earlier today.
