Post subject:  Weird reacton to fame reset
Last night I was sailing around looking for a fame reset.Found one and grabbed it.Instead of resetting my fame to 0,it set it at 65535.Kinda freaked me out.But I kept going.The next reset did set my fame to 0.Was really crazy.

Whoa! That is really weird... I think you might have done the fame reset at the same time that someone attacked you, lowering your fame. That would have put you at FAME -1, but since that's not allowed in the database, it wraps around to the maximum value.

This is the only time I've heard of this happening for fame. :-D

No.

While I don't know what happened in that case, the number that the fame reset to here was the red flag that made me think that it tried to go negative.

17 isn't a number that you would get when the database data type rolls over.

You know,I may have been attacked at the same time I hit the reset.Larry hit me around that time,but i just assumed he hit me right before.Both things happening at the same time never occured to me.Was just glad I found another reset before I got hit again.
