Pirate The World - Online Adventure Game

Game's been really lagging badly for me the last 2 days.

Anyone else?

more like everyday this week ...I have to double click every link too. It's flippen suicide to play like this.

lol ..my first 50 moves took at least 30 minutes to do so I quit and then played the rest of my moves a few hours later...no more lag...big improvement

strangest thing happening. Two days in a row I'm moving along great and get MrsAir in my sights and bammm I am frozen...I counted 20 seconds before I could move and both times I was robbed.

i felt that lag also
i thought i was gonna miss you
i lagged for about 10 secs before it registered
maybe an attack bug when 2 players come into each others radar range and are moving
maybe the server cant handle 2 responses of 2 moving pirates as fast as we would like and lags alittle
Im not gonna make excuses about anything but this has happened to me with other moving pirates also
and yes i still get the white screen of death once in a while
but it is alot better than it was say 3 months ago

I didn't feel the lag the first time I went past you but I did on the second bypass, just a 4-5 second delay, nothing like yesterday. I didn't try to attack either time so I still not sure that the lag is completely associated with us attacking each other at the same time.

i lagged the first time you went by me 4-5 secs cause i missed the attack but you didnt lag
then the second time you went by me you lagged and i didnt and i hit you

the lag is really bad today...I've had to reload uncountable times and double click or refresh at least every second link...

Thats weird cause I was going to comment that it was better today---- Course I started about 12 minutes after you posted and have been playing for about an hour/hour 15 since.

This lag seems transient and intermittent.....

Would there be a chance of getting a packet sniffer on the game server? See if it is someone bombarding the site at different times? Some ISPs can also do a "top talkers" list for a period of time. We use that on our sites that we host in house here to find out who's been using them the most...

ok now I am REALLY feeling it. Hardcore lag time. Having to be careful to only hit keys once and wait it out lest I end up moving multiples.

WOW!! the game started bogging out really bad today..Maybe the server needs a reboot?
