wonder if that is the same pirate i tried to hit 3 times today... at least 2 of the attacks i was sure i had them dead to rights but nothing happened... would have expected at least a msg saying they had moved

Okay I have a question and a problem. I think there is a bug in the game, but only connected with certain pirates. At 5;50 tonight I attacked a pirate who totally disappeared from my radar screen and minutes later I was hit by same pirate I attacked and lost gold. This happened yesterday also, by same pirate. There is no message saying pirate moved or anything. It just disappeared when I hit it. No message saying I didn't get anything either. At 6:15 again today I ran into same pirate and same thing happened except he could steal my gold this time since he had done it 20-30 minutes earlier. it is like he has a stealth system on. In the 2 years I have been playing, I have never run into this. I have been hit by invisible pirates before, but never by invisible pirates who were visible and I am not even able to click on them or get acknowledged as clicking on them. It is like I was totally neutralized by them so they could attack me. I wouldn't question this except it has happened 3 times now and only with one pirate. Can you explain to me what is going on? Thank you. |

No doubt they salvaged the Romulin Cloaking device I pushed over board because it would not work on my ship. It kept saying that it would not work on Windows 3.1 or something. |
