i was attacked by larry today with only 1 fame and at the time i new i had only 50500 gold pieces which at 1 fame should have only been 1545 but my log showed gold lost a
at 1772 and im sure that this is not the first time has anyone else had this happen to them ?

I have noticed that it isnt a set % lost, but rather a varaiable %.

Is this really a post about 200 gp lost? I've seen the posts where it appeared 3% was lost when it should have been 1%. I even sent a PM to the Cap, when it happened to me. But 1700 instead of 1500? Come on, it's a game. Are you actually accusing Larry of using a .02 multiplier? What's happening here? This is a bit too much of the pot calling the kettle black! Go back to tag teaming people with Mary and leave the gold computations to the Cap’n.

Unless of course, this was supposed to be posted in the Game issues section and genuinely feel there may have been a coding error. Or perhaps Larry has cracked the PWT code and deemed no one would notice his stealth bonus plan, and you missed posted. If this was really supposed to be in the Cheats section, again, I humbly apologize, and thank you for disclosing this scandalous individual!

But, if it truly was a post in Rants and Raves, about 220 gp. Then you deserve this flame and hopefully all those that come after it.

when one has fame, I think there is a different calculation incorporated in it

something like (crew/4)+fame level +1=gold taken

but that is ONLY if the fame is above 0

yep larry definately gets more on the score
i believe an even higher percentage against my lesser defense. it would be nice to be able to accurately calculate such things as to better know where ones at in the great schem of the game

fame + crew/4 = % of gold lost.... which would make sense why larry makes more.. ya know?

No it doesn't. How is that fair to new players. They have no chance unless they pour lots of dollars into this game. The game is slanted and we all know it.

the NEW players have an opportunity to SUCCEED on the older players, where as before, there was no opportunity here.. how is that fair to the older players? this game MUST be biased to help all the newbs....
