We will be having our first treasure hunt on:

Start Date: Sunday 26th of February 2006 EST

Start Time: 9PM EST - 6PM PST

Total Pot Size: $300
Total Possible Winners: 5

This treasure hunt is free for all and we will enroll all of you automatically. You just have to show up and play & search the islands to find the booty. We will be providing a hunt riddle of some sort before the hunt goes live.

Well I am in a GMT +12 time zone, so if I am right then the hunt starts at 3 am for me. Looks like I am out then, :(.

Same as I just said, as NZ is a GMT + 12 time zone. So it is around 3 am start for us. As far as I know EST time is 6 hr behind us.

Ok I am going to ask some stupid questions....We do these treasure hunts out of our daily 600 moves? Are you still attacking other pirates and being plundered while this is going on also? I would hate to use my daily moves and then find out I need them for the treasure hunt and also how long does it last? Until everything is found or for a specified amount of time to find to goodies?

How long do these things last? Till the bounty is found or for a certain amount of time so theres a chance no one will win?

As far as I know we use our moves as normal, and if we hit the right island then we win real cash depending on where we came. And each ship can be on the same space just for the hunts, as I read that earlyer.

P.s I think I stuffed up my maths, as I was never good in that area. So it will be 3 PM NZ time, not AM like I thought. So I will be able to take part after all, :D.

Also, it sounds like we'll be getting the riddle before the hunt starts? Wouldn't it make more sense to release the riddle at the same time as the hunt so that people can't take advantage of a preparatory riddle-solving time?

Well I hope I am right for your sake then. I hate numbers and always have. I do know that it is yesterday for us NZers, so cashout for example is 6 PM on the first of each month. Anyway, I am quite sure the hunt starts at 3 AM or 3 PM. Hopefully it is at 3 PM. I just set my computer clock to US time, and it is 5 PM yesterday, but I think this is different again. What a muddle up, we need a time expert to come in here and help out.

ok near as I can figure it that would make it noon your time. But like others math is not my strong suite so it is still guesstimating.
